Software Engineer — Junior & Intern

About Raven Cargo
Raven Cargo runs a real trucking operation on software it builds itself — internal apps, autonomous agents, and direct integrations into the TMS and systems that run freight. We move real loads on top of code we write ourselves.
Our team is small, fast, and hands-on. We ship to production constantly and operate with a flat structure. There is no layer between you and the problem. Leadership goes to people who show initiative and consistently deliver.
About the Role
- You'll work on whatever is most important right now — internal tooling, agent orchestration, data pipelines, customer-facing portals, or the integrations that connect them.
- You'll grow into owning problems end to end — from the data layer to the deployed URL — with mentorship along the way.
- You'll get clarity on your first project before you start, and you won't be left to figure it out alone.
Basic Qualifications
- You have a solid programming foundation — from a CS degree, a bootcamp, or projects you can show us.
- You ship. You'd rather build something real than only talk about it, and you take pride in your work.
- You're eager to direct AI codegen and learn to validate its output — and to get sharp at catching when it's wrong.
- You communicate clearly and want feedback.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or orchestrating LLM agents.
- TypeScript / Next.js / Node / Postgres (Supabase).
- Any exposure to logistics, freight, or TMS systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Intern: $25 – $40 / hour
Junior Engineer: $75,000 – $105,000 USD
